NAME: Lea
CANON: Kingdom Hearts
CANON POINT: Post KH3
AGE: 26-27
BACKGROUND: Lea Wiki and Axel Wiki
PERSONALITY: When meeting Lea, you find him to be a person who really stands out in a crowd. He has an aura of confidence around him that seems to draw others to him. He can seem very much like that cool guy everyone wants to talk to but everyone isn't sure about approaching. However, when you get to know him you find out there's a lot more under the surface which he tends to only reveal to those he deems to be his friends.
At his core, he is a very kind hearted person. He thinks first about his friends and what they need before focusing on his own needs. This extends even as far back as when he was Axel and did, as he puts it, all of the icky jobs in order to ensure that Saix could rise up the ranks in the Organization to find another friend of theirs. He's given up everything for his friends. His heart, his life... They mean the world to him and even after becoming human again his focus is entirely on them.
As well as being a true friend, we know him to also be someone with a rather sarcastic nature. Dry humor can be his default mode in a tense situation so that way he can keep from falling apart. Plus he even likes to push buttons and even challenge those that are stronger than him. He appears to be well aware of the fact that here are consequences for these actions but moves forward with them anyway. Of course some of his humor can be a little groan worthy but it's clear that he appreciates his own jokes as he just lets them slide out without hesitation.
This sort of confidence and easy going nature gives him a charisma which makes people want to be friends with him. And now that he's human he's even started reaching out more to others to befriend them. Despite this though, he's not really a leader type, preferring to let others have that task. He understands that it's not in his nature to be the boss so he'd much rather let someone better suited to the task handle that then go wherever they point. Of course, only as long as he agrees with what they are saying. He's learned from his time in the Organization that not every leader is truly worthy of the role that they have.
To do this, he works harder than just about anyone to improve himself so that way he can handle challenges that come his way. For example, he knew that he would need a Keyblade in order to continue finding a way to save all of his friends who had been lost during the struggles. So, against all odds, he manages to summon one then goes to train to use it. He's really quite stubborn that way, not seeing things as impossible but instead as things that just haven't been overcome yet. Things he just has to figure out how to handle so he can get to where he needs to go.
Unlike when he was in the Organization though, he's less likely to be a traitor to those he's with now. Sora and the others have his loyalty as he works to fight against those that seek to bring darkness. He doesn't do icky jobs anymore and instead fights to make sure that no one else has to. Which is why he's the one who rushes in to save Sora from the Organization when they take him to try to make him one of the vessels that they require.
Lea is someone that will work harder, fight longer, stubbornly face anything for those he loves and what he believes in. Even though it got him very hurt he still jumped in to fight to save his friends and to try to bring Isa back to the light. To join in the fight with Roxas and Xion. Now he has a lot of time to make up for with them but he is still someone who will do everything in his power to fight for them all over again if he has to. To jump in head first without thinking things through.
After all, he isn't the type to go planning things. He's not a schemer by any means. He's a rush in and know that he will make it out okay as he improvises. Now, this doesn't always work out in his favor but that certainly has never stopped him. Because he's really too stubborn to know when to quit. You could knock him down and he would still find a way to get back up again. This could mean the result is him getting killed off but if it also means that he's done something to save his friends then he's okay with that.
Basically, Lea is the kind of person that you want to be friends with. To go and share ice cream with while you joke and talk about life. He's ready to be there and to lay down everything for his friends. He has seen what happens when you follow a dark path in order to do this though so this has given him some wisdom in life. The kind he is ready to share if someone wants to hear that sort of thing. Because he may not be a genius or anything but he can at least tell you what he's learned from his own experiences. And sometimes those lessons are the most informative of all.
POWERS/ABILITIES: As a fire user, we know that Lea has the ability to specialize in the manipulation of fire. He can control these flames and can even be wrapped up in them entirely without being burned. In turn, all of his weapons that he uses end up being able to manipulate and create fire as well. There are two of these specifically. The first is a pair of chakram that he can summon at will and the second is a fire keyblade which he can also summon at will. Both of these weapons belong solely to him.
It is also implied that he can continue to move through darkness known as the Dark Corridors to move himself from place to place. Since gaining his keyblade, he has not shown signs of continuing to use the Corridors but can turn his keyblade into his chakram at will to fight. He is not shown to have mastered any other elemental spells aside from fire (and the more powerful versions of it) including cure magic.
